Budget Beauty for Crossdressers 2025 – Rimmel at Poundland
I was in Poundland - The shop where nothing is a pound
I had been looking at the Rimmel budget beauty products in the little bags for a while they are £1.50 each total bargain I thought.
I was meaning to do some research into them why are Rimmel selling makeup through Poundland for £1.50 per product ?
Does this mean Rimmel makes Poundland makeup ?
I was intrigued so I thought I would just take the plunge and buy some
I spent £22.50 on fifteen products
What did I get ?

How to use Rimmel Wonder Swipe
Rimmel Wonder’Swipe it’s a two in one it works as both a liquid eyeliner and an eyeshadow (when blended out). The product is about six years old and the general consensus is that It can be a good liquid eyeliner as a shadow it's better worn over another eye shadow as the colour can be a bit weak Here’s how to apply it depending on the look you want
✨ As Eyeliner
Prep your eyelid apply a light layer of primer or concealer so it grips better.
Shake the tube before opening, so the pigment is even.
Glide the tip along your upper lash line, starting from the inner corner and moving outward. For a wing: angle it slightly upward at the outer edge.
Let it dry for a few seconds (it sets pretty quickly). Once dry, it’s smudge-proof.
✨ As Eyeshadow
Apply a small swipe directly onto your lid (closer to the lash line or the center of the lid) either on top of a bare eyelid or another eyeshadow.
Blend immediately using your fingertip or a small brush — the product is creamy at first, but once it dries it won’t budge.
Build up intensity you can layer a second swipe for more shimmer/colour payoff
✨ Tips
Work one eye at a time, because it dries fast.
For a dramatic look, use it as a bold liner and blend the edges into eyeshadow.
Pair with mascara and a neutral base to really let the shimmer pop
will I buy more if I see them - YES totally.
I can see the point of view of the reviews I read. If you have a powder eye shadow the same colour It will make this so much more vibrant
Not everyone one wants that sometimes you want something more muted and if that's the case painting this straight onto your eyelid works well .I would use this in boy mode along with the lip gloss and be very happy.
I still can see the glitter sheen despite taking it of worth £1.50 totally.

I could not wait to get these on my lips I ripped open the packets as soon as I was home .They do not disappoint at the moment I have the Fuschia Punch on my lips and I love how thick and slippery It is it coats my lips perfectly and I feel like It will last for hours .

Just a basic black eyeliner I needed one I haven't tried it yet but being RIMMEL I'm sure I can't go wrong

I LOVE the colour of this it's soooo vibrant so far I have put two coats on my toe nail to see how it works I'll put a third and then take a picture.

I think this nail polish looks interesting the only problem with it is that it's a two part there is meant to be a topcoat .I'm sure any clear nail varnish will do the job another one I look forward to using .
RIMMEL OH MY GLOSS! PLUMP 841 BITTER SWEET PLUM
This gloss definitely feels different from the usual ones
It promises volume and delivers high-shine brilliance.
As soon as I applied it, I felt a light tingling, almost like menthol, which was refreshing rather than uncomfortable.
Do my lips look noticeably fuller?
Maybe just a little but enough that I noticed.
What I really like is that it’s pleasant to wear, not sticky, and gives a polished look that lasts.

My first Rimmel Lipstick 💄 This WILL be good
RIMMEL KIND & FREE HEALTHY LOOK PRESSED POWDER 050 DEEP
I did like the consistency of this but way to dark for my skin tone I looked like my face was dirty.
I used a brush to apply and dust it moved nicely it's just to dark for me
I will try and find a shade of kind and free that is closer to my skin tone.

I love the little compact this comes in
This on the other hand was perfect. once I had gotten Into the package layer upon layer of plastic.
BROW THIS WAY 001 DARK BROWN
I haven't used this yet. I will update when I have but it's an eyebrow pencil can you go wrong with an eyebrow pencil ??
🎀 Let's do some research

It's a perfect price for young people students and people who are on a budget and when birthdays or Christmas come around who are customers going to be hinking of for full price presents RIMMEL .
They are looking to start relationships that might last a lifetime and that also suits Poundland ,
Also all the social media reviews just like this one don't hurt If you ask me brands that don't do this are missing a trick.
As for me I'm just going to enjoy exploring the different Rimmel products and experimenting when I get the time .
