Micro Blogging for Beginners 2025 – Aveline’s Real Tips

I’d describe myself as a micro blogger. I don’t sit down to write long, polished essays before hitting publish — I just don’t have the time. Instead, inspiration usually strikes in short bursts. When it does, I jot down an idea and turn it into a quick post.
I’ve experimented with keyword research, but honestly, it hasn’t clicked for me. What makes sense is simply writing about things I enjoy. Someone once told me: “If you can think of something, someone has already thought of it.” That’s probably true. But here’s the thing: if you think something is cool, chances are other people will too.
Blogging as an Opportunity
Blogging can also be a great option for people who can’t work in traditional jobs. It gives you the chance to earn money through Google AdSense by putting useful information online. When people search for that information, your posts can be rewarded with ad revenue.
Think of it like owning digital property. Each blog post is a little piece of online real estate that can grow in value over time. The more posts you create, the more “properties” you own, and the more opportunities you have for income.
Finding Fresh Angles
The key is not just what you write about, but how you approach it. Take the history of France, for example. Thousands of articles already exist on that topic. But what if you narrowed it down?
The history of France from the perspective of the Black population.
Or even more specific: the history of France from the perspective of Black LGBT people.
The facts don’t change — history is history. But your angle does. The more specific your viewpoint, the smaller your audience may be, but those readers will be highly engaged because they’re looking for exactly that.
The best part? Keywords will come naturally when you write about a subject through a unique lens. You don’t need to force them.
Where AI Fits In
One thing I wouldn’t recommend is asking AI to write your posts for you. What makes your blog stand out is your perspective, your lived experience — something AI doesn’t have.
What AI is great for:
Polishing grammar, punctuation, and structure.
Expanding on an idea you’ve already written down (as long as you rewrite in your own words).
Think of it as a cloth for polishing, not a ghostwriter.
Learning from Every Post
Not every article will be a hit — and that’s okay. Treat each one as a learning opportunity:
Why did this post get indexed?
Why was that one popular, or why did it flop?
Readers usually want one of three things:
An answer to a question.
An opinion.
Entertainment.
Sometimes you may also write just to share information, regardless of keywords. That still builds your domain authority and keeps blogging fun.
My Tools (Simple but Effective)
Blogger account – My main publishing platform.
Ionos account – For custom domain names.
Nokia C12 smartphone – Perfect for photos and drafting posts on the go.
Paper & pen – For brainstorming and planning.
Basic laptop or Chromebook – Nothing fancy needed; even an old machine works fine for browser-based tools.
That’s it. Simple, light, and affordable.
And, true to the spirit of micro blogging, this article will keep evolving. I’ll edit and update it whenever I have something new to share — so check back from time to time.
