XXY Hosting - My New Adventure

XXY Hosting

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about my goals in life. They’re simple, but they mean everything to me:

  1. Lift my family out of poverty

  2. Be self-sufficient

  3. A Job where I can express my feminine side freely - Since that's where I spend most of my time.

Blogging has already given me a taste of that. I’ve been learning about SEO and keywords as I go, and I’m enjoying it more than I expected. It’s also given me space to think about and express my female side, which feels really good.

But then I started wondering… what else could I do that’s mostly passive, like blogging, but still uses my computer skills?

That’s when it hit me: hosting other people’s websites, blogs, and services.

Coming Up With the Name

I had a lot of fun brainstorming names. Here are a few I played with:

  • Femail Hosting – I liked the mix of female and email, but I knew people would just type female, so that one was out.

  • Hosting by Aveline – A bit too obvious and plain.

  • XXY Hosting – This one stuck.

The idea came from chromosomes. Women are XX, men are XY. I feel like I’m both, and I love being both. There’s actually a medical condition where someone can have XXY chromosomes, but I’m not claiming that. For me, it’s symbolic.

All humans have an X. For me, X on the left is my female side, Y on the right is my male side. XXY Hosting feels like a perfect reflection of who I am.

The Look and Feel

For the logo, I want to use the style of my favorite makeup brand, Rimmel London — Montserrat font, white on red.

The tagline will be: “Hosting for Humans.”

It’s simple, clear, and inclusive. And honestly, most people don’t care what a business is called as long as it works. That means I can make the name meaningful to me without worrying too much about the rest.

Why It Matters

This isn’t just a business idea. For me, it’s a way to bring together everything I want:

  • Security for my family

  • Independence

  • A space where I can express myself fully

So this is just the start. I don’t know exactly where it will go yet  but I’m excited to find out.

Watch this space.
